In his policy speech Kim Jong Un called for frustrating the hostile forces' sanctions on the strength of self-sufficiency and self-reliance, the statement said.

The statement expressed support for the just measures taken by the DPRK to foil the imperialists' sanctions and develop its self-supporting economy.

It said that the achievements made by the Korean people serve as an example to be followed by world progressives, and the peoples of the countries aspiring after independence extend firm solidarity to the struggle of the Korean people.

The statement expressed full support for the efforts of the DPRK for peace of the Korean peninsula and slammed the policy hostile toward the DPRK pursued by the imperialists, the chief peace wrecker.
