The statement warmly hailed the DPRK-Russia summit talks held in Russia.

It said they were convinced that the measures taken by the DPRK would accelerate the reunification of the Korean peninsula and certainly put an end to the hostile forces' sanctions and pressure to check regional progress and prosperity.

It extended firm solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle for realizing the country's reunification, the long-cherished desire of the nation, as soon as possible.
