Up to now, more than 120 tall pine trees and 250-odd dwarf pine trees took roots in main streets of Pyongyang, its capital city.

From February this year, the Pyongyang City People's Committee has organized a technical course on pine tree planting several times and urged each district to observe the scientific and technological requirements in tree planting.

In particular, it transported 7-8 meters tall pine trees from the suburbs of the city to the main districts.

Meanwhile, the main districts, including the Central, Taedonggang and Taesong districts, planted and tended pine trees in a proper way to raise their rate of rooting.
