Talks Held between Presidents of Central Court of DPRK and People's Supreme Court of Laos

| Pyongyang, May 9 (KCNA) -- Talks were held between Kang Yun Sok, president of the Central Court of the DPRK, on a visit to Laos as head of the delegation of the Central Court and Khamphanh Sitthidampha, president of the People's Supreme Court of Laos, on May 7. Present at the talks from the DPRK side were members of the delegation of the Central Court and the DPRK ambassador to Laos and from the Lao side vice-president of the People's Supreme Court and officials concerned. At the talks both sides exchanged views on the issue of developing the exchange and cooperation between judicial organs of the two countries and the issues of common concern. A memorandum of understanding on exchange and cooperation between the Central Court of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the People's Supreme Court of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in field of judiciary was signed after the talks. The delegation of the Central Court was invited to a welcome reception hosted by the People's Supreme Court of Laos on the same day. |
