Displayed at the venue of the exhibition under the theme of diversified, varied and multicolored finishing building materials are 250-odd research achievements and products in the form of sample and chart by institutes and producers of furniture and finishing building materials under commissions, ministries, national institutions and every provincial people's committee.

The exhibition also includes the introduction of sci-tech achievements, made in the research into and production of finishing building materials, and exchange of technologies.

Present at the opening ceremony were Pak Thae Song, vice-chairman of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, Jon Kwang Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Jo Sok Ho, chairman of the Capital City Construction Commission, officials concerned and officials, scientists and technicians of ministries, national institutions, scientific and educational institutions and industrial establishments in Pyongyang.

The exhibition will last till May 20.
