Ethiopian Bodies Support Just Cause of Korean People

Pyongyang, May 15 (KCNA) -- The Ethiopian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the Ethiopian Committee for the Study of the Independent Politics and the Ethiopia-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee made public a joint statement on May 3 in support of the appeal issued by the Latin American and Caribbean Regional Committee to Support the Reunification of Korea.

The statement said Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un saw to it that the historic Panmunjom Declaration and the June 12 DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement were adopted and made public with his courageous will and bold decision, thus making a great contribution to ensuring peace and security of the Korean peninsula and the world.

Nevertheless, some forces not desirous of peace lay hurdles in the way of Korea's reunification, it noted, adding:

To achieve peace, prosperity and reunification of the Korean peninsula is an urgent task which brooks no further delay for the times and a wish of world progressives.

The present situation requires all peace-loving people of the world to resolutely turn out in a joint action for peace of the peninsula in unity.

We will regard it as a contribution to defending global peace to support the just cause of the Korean people and further the solidarity activities together with world progressive organizations.
