The water park, with a total floor space of over 100,000 square meters, consists of outdoor wading pools, indoor wading pools, gymnasium, etc.

It is furnished with all conditions needed for swimming and various kinds of exercises in all seasons.

The water park is associated with Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's noble view on the people.

It was built in October Juche 102 (2013) on the initiative of the Supreme Leader and under his energetic guidance.

He guided the miniature of the water park more than 110 times.

And he visited it under construction at midnight and early dawn several times to give detailed instructions for its perfect completion.

Kim Hak Se, an old man from North Hamgyong Province, said with a smile that he felt as if he was ten years younger than his age while enjoying at the water park with his family.
