The Paektusan Institute of Architecture and many other units presented 250-odd research achievements in the form of products and chart to the exhibition under the theme of diversified, varied and multicolored finishing building materials.

Among them are various kinds of paints, tiles and fibre acoustical boards made with domestic raw materials.

Typical of them are noise abatement paint for metal roofing, which helps prevent noise by natural phenomena, and colored sand plaster mortar which is simple in usage and conducive to diversifying the appearance of buildings at will. The mortar has already been introduced into various construction objects like the Samjiyon County Post Office.
