Present there were officials of the Ministry of Public Health and relevant units, the Swedish and British ambassadors to the DPRK, the representative of the United Nations Children's Fund here and staff members of diplomatic missions and international bodies' missions here.

At the event, speakers called upon all the attendees to share their common sense and experience and acquire knowledge of child health so as to make a positive contribution to bringing up younger generations in good health.

Then a seminar on child health was held.

Speakers elaborated on the problems arising in child health care including prevention and treatment of diseases.

After looking round the photos of happy Korean children and those showing the aid activities of the missions of international bodies here, the participants enjoyed an art performance given by the children at the Taedongmun Kindergarten and their sporting and amusement games.
