The kindergarten, furnished with all conditions needed for education, reminds one of a small "conservatory".

It selects children with instinct for music in a systematic way and gives them basic knowledge on music.

Kim Hyong Ae, chief of the kindergarten, told KCNA:

It has been 40 years since the music class for violin and kayagum was organized at the kindergarten under the solicitude of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

He showed deep care for the work for training musical talents and sent various musical instruments, sound equipment and commuter bus to the kindergarten.

Over the past years, the kindergarten has produced many talented little composers and music prodigies, and a number of teachers received the title of October 8 Model Professor and new teaching method certificates.

Books "Learning Violin for Children" and "Learning Kayagum for Children" written by teachers of the kindergarten have been distributed throughout the country.

And many graduates of the kindergarten are now active as competent creators, performers and teachers at dignified art troupes and art education field of the country.
