The "specified missing man" reportedly left his home in Yokohama City of Kanagawa Prefecture in May 1992 when he was 26. Then, he went missing. In April this year the Japan police confirmed that he is alive and once served as an "officer of the Ground Self-Defense Force."

Commenting on the fact, Rodong Sinmun Monday says:

The Japanese reactionaries talk about "abduction by north Korea" whenever they cannot find missing persons. The above-said fact clearly proves that their story is just sophism and fabrication.

Like in the past, a "specified missing person" was found in Japan again and Japan has come under public derision as it always passed the buck to others when they could not find such missing persons.

Missing persons are on the steady increase in Japan and its root cause lies in its unpopular and reactionary social system.

Nevertheless, the Japanese reactionaries went so shameless as to deliberately link all the missing cases caused by the social evils rampant in Japan to the DPRK and go crazy in their anti-DPRK campaign like the "rally of families of abduction victims."

Japan is a country which committed heinous abductions unprecedented in history. Far from making efforts to cleanse itself of the crime-woven past, Japan is intentionally linking the missing cases occurring in it to the DPRK. It is just the height of tricky propaganda against the DPRK.

Japan is well advised to break with the evil habit of finding faults with others and honestly atone for its past crimes. It should make an apology for trying to impair the dignity of the DPRK.
