DPRK Players Prove Successful in Int'l Tournament

| Pyongyang, May 28 (KCNA) -- DPRK players proved successful in the Chinese Taipei Athletics Open 2019 held on May 25 and 26. The tournament brought together 440-odd men and women players from 15 countries and regions, including the DPRK, Singapore, South Africa and Canada. Kim Kuk Hyang took the first place in women's 1,500m race. Jong Chol Guk won a silver medal in men's 3,000m hurdle race and Kim Ran Yon in women's 3,000m hurdle race. The DPRK players returned home on Tuesday. |
