Looking round the revolutionary museum, the Supreme Leader of the Party, the State and the armed forces learned about the management and operation of the museum and education.

Making rounds of different places of the plant, he was told about the production and development of production capacity and acquainted himself with the performance of the precision machines and equipment recently turned out by the plant.

He was concerned about the workers working at the work-site with deafening mechanical noise and gave instructions to push ahead with the work to establish cultured way in production so as to reduce noise and improve the labor environment and conditions.

Noting that it is necessary to turn the plant which is associated with the leadership exploits of the Party and has a long history into a modern plant with completed mechanics of production, locally available production system and cutting- edge science and technology and thus put it on an advanced level of the world, he indicated the orientation and tasks to put the modernization and existing production capacity of the plant on a higher level, and took measures necessary for it.

Then he went to the sci-tech learning space.

He said that it is necessary to inform the employees of clear orientation and plan for technical study and learn about their understanding on a regular basis and sum up the results and take steps so that they can grasp advanced science and technology and expertise conducive to the present production of their unit. By doing so, they should be made to get benefit from the modernization of the plant and growth of production, he added.

When told at the tele-education room that the officials and employees of the plant attend a lecture, being enrolled in the distance education system of national-level universities, he said that it is a good thing, adding that it is necessary to awaken the zeal for studying while working and for working while studying and build sufficient technical development force and talents with scientific and technical knowledge of the field they are specializing in and of versatile knowledge.

At the product exhibition room showcasing the goods produced by the plant with locally available raw materials, he looked at various goods made by the workers of the plant in the spirit of self-reliance.

He said that all the fields and units should work hard for the maximum increased production and economization through the fullest use of the already existing economic foundation and potential, internal reserves and possibility and accelerate the work to make the full use of by-products of all kinds and wastes from production along with the local supply of raw and other materials and thus create more material wealth with our own natural resources and technology.

Saying that the plant has done a lot without a word and it is the one alive with tradition, he expressed the conviction that the officials and employees of the plant would bring about a new turn in production and management, bearing in mind the trust and expectation of the Party which has put it forward as a model plant of self-reliance.

He was accompanied by Jo Yong Won, Yu Jin, Kim Yong Su, Hyon Song Wol, Kim Chang Son, Ma Won Chun and other leading officials of the Party Central Committee and the State Affairs Commission.
