DPRK Players Prove Successful in Int'l Handball Game

| Pyongyang, June 1 (KCNA) -- DPRK players proved successful in the junior women's game and the juvenile women's game of the 2019 IHF Trophy Tournament East and Southeast Asia held in Taipei of China on May 26-30. The tournament brought together players from different countries and regions, including the DPRK, Vietnam and Hong Kong of China. In the junior and juvenile women's games, the DPRK players defeated all their rivals and overwhelmed the players of Taipei of China in the finals, bagging gold medals. They returned home on June 1. |
