Mongolian Bodies Support Korean People's Struggle

Pyongyang, June 3 (KCNA) -- The Mongolia-Democratic Korea Friendship Bridge Association and the Mongolian Committee for Supporting the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration on May 27 made public a joint statement in support of the appeal issued by the Latin American and Caribbean Regional Committee to Support the Reunification of Korea.

The statement said that thanks to the bold decision and will of Kim Jong Un, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the Panmunjom Declaration and the June 12 DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement were adopted last year.

This was a turning point of great significance in improving inter-Korean relations, achieving reunification of the Korean peninsula and ensuring global peace and security, the statement noted.

It stressed that the Mongolian bodies will conduct brisk solidarity activities to support the Korean people in their efforts for establishing a permanent peace mechanism by making good use of a peaceful atmosphere prevailing over the Korean peninsula and for achieving reunification and prosperity under the uplifted banner of national independence.
