The dictionary, published in 1824, carries more than 9 300 vocabularies of nature, things and phenomena and related terms.

It has been handed down in manuscripts of five volumes.

The first volume deals with birds and animals, the second fish and shellfish, the third grass, the fourth trees and the fifth earth, stone, metal, fire, water, etc.

In case of animals, it explains their names, mode of life, breeding.

It also gives historical grounds and author's opinion.

"Mulmyonggo" is a valuable national classic showing the level of dictionary compilation and the development of natural science and technology in the middle ages.
