The bulletin carried an article titled "Top commendation which was regarded by the great man" illustrated with his photo.

The article said that Kim Jong Il developed the Workers' Party of Korea into the guiding force of the revolution and consolidated a single-minded unity of the whole society as firm as a rock for several decades since he started work at the Party Central Committee on June 19, 1964.

It noted that he was a great man who was revered by all people for his exploits and worldwide reputation.

It said that he was awarded orders, medals and honorary titles from lots of countries in the world and international organizations as he made immortal contributions to the times and history, and went on:

Leader Kim Jong Il regarded the simple and pure sincerity of the people as his biggest pride and self-conceit, more valuable than any honor and order.

He, who regarded the people's dear calling "Our General" as top commendation, made ceaseless journey for the well-being of the people.
