On this occasion, all the KCU members and people of the DPRK are recollecting with deep emotion the celebrations of the 66th KCU birthday provided by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The Supreme Leader saw to it that a grand gathering of the KCU members was arranged in Pyongyang in June Juche 101 (2012) to mark its 66th anniversary.

So, more than 20 000 delegates from schools across the country, including branch schools in mountainous areas and islands, came to Pyongyang by trains, planes and buses prepared with special care.

The Supreme Leader personally attended the joint national meeting of the KCU organizations and made a congratulatory speech wishing a bright future to the KCU members. He also enjoyed a concert together with the delegates and had a picture taken with them.

Under his loving care, the delegates visited various parts of Pyongyang to spend a pleasant time and over 260 of them received birthday spreads.

The Supreme Leader made it a rule to celebrate the KCU birthday on a large scale every year.

This year, too, the celebrations are held to mark the 73rd founding anniversary of the KCU.
