The editorial says that the KCU is the mass political organization of the schoolchildren of the DPRK, who are fully preparing themselves to be successors to the revolution as well as the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth League.

The history of the KCU is the proud course in which it took its first steps and developed under the care of the peerlessly great persons.

Our KCU members are masters of the future, who are training themselves to be competent revolutionary talents under the uplifted banner of the slogan "Let us learn for Korea!"

Their hope and aspiration is to study hard to become pillars of a prosperous future Korea. Strong is the enthusiasm for learning by the KCU members with a determination to become talents needed by the country and the people. The competent officials and talents, who discharge an important role in every worksite for the construction of a powerful socialist country, were all yesterday's KCU members who studied hard for the future of their beloved country.

Let us be always ready for socialist country. This is the unanimous aspiration of our KCU members. They are determined to demonstrate their country, their motherland, by becoming world-famous scientists, inventors, great writers, artistes and masters of sports. Seeing their reliable and courageous looks, our people see a rosy future of the country with a sea of talents.

Let all KCU members prepare themselves to be masters of the future who add luster to the great Kim Il Sung's and Kim Jong Il's Korea, flying high the flag of the KCU.
