They carried such articles as the one titled "Kim Jong Il, his undying exploits in party building" illustrated with his smiling image.

The Komsomolskaya Pravda said in an article that Kim Jong Il started his work at the Central Committee of the WPK on June 19, 1964.

Through the period of leading the WPK, he set it as the most important task to build the party into the leader's party and creditably carried out it, the article noted.

It stated that he put forward the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung as the only guiding ideology of the WPK, and declared it as the party's highest programme to model the whole society on Kimilsungism.

Under his wise leadership, the WPK consolidated the single-hearted unity of the leader, party and masses as firm as a rock and fully displayed its might as befits the invincible party guiding the cause of socialism to victory, it said.

It stressed that his undying exploits in party building will be resplendent for ever along with socialist Korea that makes ceaseless progress.

The Nakhodkinski Rabochi said in an article that Kim Jong Il had a clear view on how to build a socialist ruling party, and developed the WPK into the genuine motherly party that fulfills responsibility for the destiny of the people.

It is too natural that the Korean people call the party as the motherly party boundlessly trusting in and following it, the article stressed.
