This was mentioned in a joint statement issued by the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association and the Czech Group for the Study and Materialization of the Juche Idea on June 3 on the occasion of the first anniversary of the June 12 DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement.

The joint statement said that the DPRK-U.S. summit meeting and talks were the results of the persevering efforts made by socialist Korea for lasting peace on the Korean peninsula.

The U.S. insistence on the unilateral nuclear dismantlement despite meaningful steps taken by the DPRK is a gangster-like logic that can never be tolerated, the joint statement noted.

It called on the international community to exert positive efforts for the peace on the Korean peninsula and the world.
