New Casting Technology Based on Gypsum Developed

| Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- The Metal Art Creative Group under the Mansudae Art Studio in the DPRK made plaster for precision casting with kaolin and other raw materials abundant in the country and, on this basis, developed a new casting technology using it. The new casting technology is of great economic value as compared with the previous shell casting method. It, simple in casting method, can be introduced into making craftworks which require high precision and cleanness. The creative group produced metal craftworks depicting pine and goshawk, national tree and bird, and turtle ship by using this technology. A work is now going on to introduce the technology into machine-building and medical instrument industries. |
