Sergei Zebyatikh, chief of the association and editor-in-chief of the Belarusian magazine Social Education, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The remembrance committee decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung through media and hold political and cultural events including remembrance meeting.
