WPK's Stand to Defend Int'l Justice and World Peace Supported by Syrian Figure

| Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) -- Mohammed Shaban Azzooz, member of the Regional Leadership of the Baath Arab Socialist Party and chairman of the Syrian Arab-Korea Friendship Association, made public a statement on June 12, the first anniversary of the adoption of the historic June 12 DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement. He in his statement said that thanks to the bold decision made by Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, the DPRK-U.S. summit meeting and talks were held in Singapore in June last year for the first time in history and the June 12 DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement was adopted. He expressed full support for the WPK's stand to defend international justice and world peace. He stated that he would closely cooperate with the WPK in the struggle for building a new world being aspired by mankind and achieving development and prosperity of all peoples around the world. He paid the noblest tribute to Kim Jong Un, wishing the WPK bigger success in its work for national prosperity. |
