President Kim Il Sung to Be Remembered in Pakistan

Pyongyang, June 17 (KCNA) -- A Pakistani national committee for remembering President Kim Il Sung was formed in Karachi on June 12 to observe the 25th anniversary of his demise.

S. M. Altaf, chairman of the Central Committee of the Worker-Peasant Party of Pakistan, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The committee set days from June 20 to July 8 as a remembrance period and decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary career and feats of the President through media and hold political and cultural events in the period.
