National Seminar Held

Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) -- A national seminar was held at the Central Youth Hall on Tuesday to have a good grasp of the ideology and theory advanced in Chairman Kim Jong Il's work "Let Us Further Raise the Flames of a Revolutionary Great Upsurge on All Fronts of the Building of a Thriving Country with the Great Spiritual Strength of Kim Il Sung's Nation" and bring about a revolutionary upswing in the grand march of self-reliance this year. The work, published on June 25, Juche 98(2009), indicates the tasks and ways for bringing about a revolutionary upswing on all fronts of socialist construction by giving the fullest play to the mental power of national self-respect and self-reliance. At the seminar speakers said that the work of Kim Jong Il serves as important guidelines clarifying the way for training the Korean people into those strong in the ideological and mental power with the Juche-oriented theory of giving importance to ideology as a powerful weapon in the revolution and construction. It is the immutable truth running through the work that giving full play to the popular masses' mental power is the key to the creation of miracles and guarantees great innovations and leaps forward and the mental power of the Korean people equipped with the revolutionary idea is the most important asset for building a prosperous country, they noted, adding that this is the law which has been proven in practices in the advance of the new century of Juche. Speakers vowed to deeply study and grasp the profound idea of the work and fulfill their mission and duty as leading officials of the revolution in the van of the march for fresh revolutionary upsurge under the uplifted banner of self-reliance, true to the guidance of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un. Attending the seminar were officials of central and city party and administrative organs, working people's organizations, those in the fields of science, education, literature and art and media and those of party cadres training institutions and in field of preservation of revolutionary relics. |
