The Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK said on June 10 that the first DPRK-U.S. summit meeting and talks are an event of weighty significance for durable peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.

It went on:

We support the efforts made by the DPRK for the improvement of the DPRK-U.S. relations in the past one year.

We also strongly demand that the U.S. drop its hostile policy towards the DPRK and implement the June 12 DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement as early as possible.

We sincerely hope that peace, stability and prosperity would settle on the Korean peninsula.

The Rostov Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism of Russia noted on June 7 that progressive mankind welcomed the measures taken by the DPRK for the climate of durable peace in the Korean peninsula.

It stressed that the U.S. should clearly know that the implementation of the June 12 DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement is the way for contributing to ensuring peace and stability in the Korean peninsula and the rest of the world.
