One day of five years ago, on his way of field guidance he saw students carrying schoolbags, musical instruments and belongings in their hands.

Looking at them for a long time, he decided to supply satchels to students. So he visited the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill in December that year to give a task to build a cloth production process for satchels.

He visited the textile mill again in January Juche 105 (2016).

Seeing satchels made with locally available raw materials and the satchel cloth production process, he said that he felt satisfied and pleased, picturing to himself the children going to and from school with home-made fashionable satchels.

Later, bag factories were built in Pyongyang and each province on his initiative.

He personally saw more than 450 bag designs and sent bag brand "Sonamu" depicting leaves and trunk of pine tree, wishing students to cherish strong stamina like pine tree.
