The statement expressed the full support for the DPRK-U.S. joint statement adopted in Singapore in June last year, saying that it is the fruit of the great bold decision of the respected H.E. Kim Jong Un to improve the hostile relationship between the DPRK and the U.S. and bring a lasting peace to the Korean Peninsula.

The peace-loving policy of socialist Korea coincides with the wish of the world progressives, the statement said, expressing the support for the just cause of the Korean people.
