The Swiss Organizing Committee for the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said in a joint statement that the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration was provided by the noble patriotic will of leader Kim Jong Il.

Thanks to the energetic leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Un for national reconciliation and unity, a new era of peace and prosperity was ushered in on the Korean Peninsula, the joint statement noted, adding:

It is illustrated by the three rounds of inter-Korean summits last year and the adoption and publication of the Panmunjom Declaration and the September Pyongyang Joint Declaration.

The joint statement stressed that Kim Jong Un performed great feats of world-historic significance in carrying out President Kim Il Sung's and leader Kim Jong Il's instructions for national reunification.

The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Korean Friendship Association UK and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification of the Korean Peninsula said in a joint statement that the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration based on the idea of By Our Nation Itself calls for resolving the issue of the reunification of the country by the concerted efforts of the Korean nation.

The adoption of the declaration was the noble fruit of the great devotion of Kim Jong Il who dedicated his all to Korea's reunification, the statement said.

It expressed the full support for the Korean people in their struggle to reunify the country without fail.

The France-Korea Friendship Association in its statement referred to the historic significance of the adoption of the above-said declaration.
