Attending the event were personages of the Laotian Foreign Ministry, the Committee for External Affairs of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and other units and the DPRK ambassador to Laos and staff members of his embassy.

Prior to the lecture, the chief of the diplomatic institute of the Laotian Foreign Ministry in a speech said that the exchange and cooperation between the two countries have proceeded in high gear for several decades since the establishment of diplomatic relations despite the complicated international situation, expressing the expectation that the relations would further expand in the future.
