Atul Kumar Anjan, chairman of the All India Indo-Korean Friendship Association who is secretary of the National Council of the Communist Party of India, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The committee set a remembrance period from June 17 to July 10 and decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary career of the President and feats he performed for the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence and to hold political and cultural events such as remembrance meeting, seminar, lecture and photo exhibition.
