The vice-general secretary of the Islamic Coalition Party of Iran was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The committee set a remembrance period from June 22 to July 10 and decided to hold political and cultural events including remembrance meeting, film show and book and photo exhibition in praise of the revolutionary career and feats of the President in the period.
