H. Jacobsen, member of the Leadership of the Communist Party in Denmark, Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, and the chief of the Danish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, were elected co-chairpersons of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to organize political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of the President on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of his demise.
