O. Mashbat, executive chairman of the Mongolian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea-Songun Idea, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

Discussed and decided at the inaugural ceremony was a plan of the committee to organize political and cultural events including a remembrance meeting and a seminar on exploits ahead of the anniversary of demise of the President.
