Rodong Sinmun Slams Abe's Cheap Conduct

Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- Japanese Prime Minister Abe tried to reach out to leaders of some countries, who attended the G20 summit, to seek support for the implementation of the "sanctions resolutions" against the DPRK. Besides, he called for taking tough measures against the evasion of the sanctions, crying out for "verifiable and irreversible dismantlement." Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in a commentary brands Abe's such nonsense as a ludicrous one of a political dwarf who has no ability to properly grasp the realty. Now the climate of reconciliation and peace has mounted unprecedentedly on the Korean peninsula and in the region, and the demand for dropping the anachronistic anti-DPRK sanctions becomes increasingly vocal in the international arena, the commentary says, and goes on: But on the contrary, the Japanese politicians went round imploring other countries to implement the "sanctions resolution" against the DPRK, part begging and part forcing. This is another reminder of their dull political sense and their poor ability to size up the situation. Now Japan's position in the international arena is miserable as it remains in the periphery over the regional situation. Left alone, yet it attempts to meddle in the Korean peninsula issue again, a thing unbecoming for its current plight. No matter how hard Japan may try to react to an avalanche of ridicule and accusations from the international community, it only falls on deaf ears. It is the height of foolishness for Japan to think of getting somewhere by means of such cheap conducts. The Japanese politicians had better know where they stand and behave themselves. |
