Head of Delegation of International Department of WPK Central Committee Has Talks with Head of International Liaison Department of CPC Central Committee

| Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- There were talks between Kim Song Nam, first deputy department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, visiting China at the head of the delegation of the International Department of the WPK Central Committee and Song Tao, head of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, in Beijing Thursday. Song Tao warmly welcomed China visit by the delegation. The China-DPRK Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance which marks the 58th anniversary of its conclusion serves as the cornerstone and symbol of China-DPRK relations, he said, voicing his stand to propel the development of China-DPRK relations in the new era true to the noble intention of the top leaders of the two parties. Present there from the DPRK side were members of the delegation and the DPRK ambassador to China and from the Chinese side officials of the International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee. There was a banquet in honor of the WPK delegation at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse Wednesday. |
