President Kim Il Sung Lauded by Indian Personages

| Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) -- A joint statement was released by Atul Kumar Anjan, chairman of the All India Indo-Korean Friendship Association who is secretary of the National Council of the Communist Party of India, a member of the national committee of minorities of India, Harising Khang, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), G. Debarajan, secretary of the Central Committee of the All-India Forward Bloc, and Suneet Chopra, joint secretary of the All India Agricultural Workers' Union who doubles as secretary general of the All India Indo-Korean Friendship Association, on July 7 on the occasion of the 25th death anniversary of President Kim Il Sung. The statement said that we recollect with deep emotion the exploits performed by Kim Il Sung for the happiness of the Korean people, socialism and global independence. It noted that we know well the great efforts made by him for the reunification of Korea. His exploits will be immortal, it pointed out. It paid respects to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who made a great contribution to the reunification of the country and peace of the Korean peninsula through his energetic external activities. It expressed firm support and solidarity with the Korean people in their struggle for achieving the development and prosperity of the country while frustrating the sanctions of the hostile forces to stifle the DPRK under the banner of self-reliance. We will always stand by the Korean people, it added. |
