The bulletin carried articles subtitled "Rehe expedition and principle of independence" and "Spurned offer of CMEA admission" under the title of "Kim Il Sung, Strong Spirit of Independence", illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Il Sung.

It gave detailed accounts of the fact that Kim Il Sung rejected the Left adventurists' line of the Rehe expedition and preserved the stand of Juche and line of independence in the Korean revolution.

Citing a detailed fact that the peerlessly great man made sure that the principle of independence in politics, self-sufficiency in economy and self-reliance in defence was invariably applied to the revolution and construction and thus foiled the moves of the big-power chauvinists and provided a strong foundation for self-supporting national economy, it stressed that all successes achieved by the Korean people in the socialist construction are the brilliant fruition of the line of independence preserved by the President.
