Syrian TV Channel, telecasting photos of the President, reported that the President turned the DPRK into a socialist state independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in defence and actively supported peoples of many countries in their struggle for national liberation and building of new society out of his noble internationalist obligation.

It also telecasted scenes showing the proud successes achieved by the Korean people in various fields under the guidance of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The newspaper Al Baath carried the following article under the title of "On the occasion of 25th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung, the eternal sun" illustrated with a photo of the peerlessly great man:

President Kim Il Sung is the founder of the DPRK, iron-willed brilliant commander who defeated two imperialisms in one generation and the eternal sun of the Korean people.

The Juche idea founded by him casts scientific light on the path ahead of the popular masses for carrying out the cause of independence.

The newspaper Tishrin in an article titled "Optimism of President Kim Il Sung" said that the life of the President was the one in which he overcame stern trials and difficulties with laugh and songs and achieved a brilliant victory.

The newspaper Al Thawrah carried an article entitled "Great man and children" which praised the President's noble outlook on the rising generations.

SANA and Central Radio Broadcasting Service reported in detail that boundless reverence for the President is sweeping many countries, praising him performing the undying exploits for the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence.
