Present there were Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), Kang Chu Ryon, vice-chairwoman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and concurrently chairwoman of the Central Standing Committee of the UDKWJ, and members of its Central Committee, etc.

Ho Jong Man made a speech of greeting at the meeting.

He called upon the union to make epoch-making progress in ushering in a fresh heyday in the movement of the Korean women in Japan on the basis of the loyalty to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and in the spirit of making selfless, devoted efforts for the interests of the compatriots with the meeting as a momentum.

Kang Chu Ryon made a report at the meeting.

She referred to the fact that the union has concentrated all its efforts on strengthening itself organizationally and ideologically and on the education of children and national education for ushering in a brilliant era of the national education as required by the era of Kim Jong Un.

She called for consolidating the branches of the union as reliable patriotic organizations, putting the education of children and national education in the center of all patriotic activities and making selfless, devoted efforts for the interests of the compatriots under the slogan of the compatriots first.
