Korean Youth and Students from Japan Meet Former Unconverted Long-term Prisoner
Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the Korean youth and students in Japan led by Pak Ok Sam, vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Youth League in Japan, met with Hong Myong Gi, pro-reunification patriotic fighter and former unconverted long-term prisoner, on Friday.

Hong Myong Gi said as he engraved in his mind the faith that victory is sure to be won under the leadership of the great leaders, he could have fought indomitably to preserve the revolutionary integrity for decades despite all sorts of evildoings of the enemies who were forcing conversion upon him.

He noted that former unconverted long-term prisoners lead a praiseworthy life full of energy despite their advanced ages.

He asked the members of the delegation to give steady continuity to the patriotic cause of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan with the loyalty to the peerlessly great men.

Pak Ok Sam said that he was greatly encouraged by the fighting spirit of the pro-reunification patriotic fighters who held to their revolutionary sense of obligation, adding that he would invariably take the road of patriotism.

An art performance was given at the meeting.
