Japan's Moves for Military Giant and Overseas Aggression Lead It to Ruin: Minju Joson
Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- Some days ago, the Japanese chief executive appeared on NHK to say that Akita and Yamaguchi prefectures should be the sites for the deployment of Aegis Ashore and he has no intention to reexamine the government policy concerning it.

Minju Joson Sunday in a commentary notes that the plan for deploying Aegis Ashore is a matter of sensitivity evoking strong opposition among the Japanese including residents in Akita and Yamaguchi prefectures in particular.

Shielding the Japanese chief executive's remarks, the Japanese authorities claim that the deployment is for "defending" the whole of Japan, the commentary says, and goes on:

There is no reason for Japan to forge ahead with the deployment of Aegis Ashore, in view of the situation around Japan. The public at home and abroad raises strong doubts about the necessity of Aegis Ashore deployment that needs huge amount of money as the surrounding situation is being eased.

This clearly proves that the Japanese authorities' claim for "defence" works on nobody. In fact, their claim for "defence" is a veil to cover up their wild ambition for a military giant.

The huge "Self-Defence Forces" of Japan are free from the shackles of "exclusive defense".

Japan is fully armed with attack weapons and equipment and, not content with this, is trying to deploy Aegis Ashore, which proves Japan's eagerness for a war.

The Japanese authorities should lend their ears to the demands of the Japanese people, well aware that their moves for military giant and overseas aggression will lead them to ruin.
