Natural History Museum and Central Zoo Attract Many People

Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) -- Over 5.1 millions of working people, youth and students have visited the Natural History Museum and the Central Zoo, the centers for cultural and leisure activities and education, at the foot of Mt Taesong for three years since their opening. The visitors had a good time there, getting more knowledge.

The Central Zoo houses more animals of hundreds species with an endless stream of visitors to the Natural History Museum, the center of peculiar style for the education of the public and scientific research and dissemination.

More animals have been added to inhabitants of the Central Zoo, over 11,000 heads of at least 480 species in total, including goshawk, mandarin duck and seal, sent by working people and service personnel in different parts of the country from foreign countries for the past three years.
