Secretary General of International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Tours Tower of Juche Idea

| Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) -- Sy El Hadji Amadou Gueye, secretary general of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and his party toured the Tower of the Juche Idea on Wednesday. Being told about the grand monument built to bequeath the undying ideological and theoretical exploits of President Kim Il Sung, the guests saw round the tower and groups of sculptures. They enjoyed a bird's eye view of Pyongyang at the observation deck of the tower. They also visited the Korean Stamps Museum and the Pyongyang Metro and saw the grand mass gymnastics and artistic performance "The Land of the People." |
