Present there on invitation were Secretary General of International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Sy El Hadji Amadou Gueye and his party, members of the delegation of International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the delegation of International Committee of the Red Cross working in the DPRK, foreign diplomatic envoys and representatives of missions of international bodies here.

Congratulatory speeches were made.

The speakers said that the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies has actively facilitated diverse humanitarian activities to prevent and allay misfortune and pain of people since its foundation.

Secretary General Sy El Hadji told the audience about the background of the foundation of the international federation and the successes made in the activities of the DPRK Red Cross Society.

The participants saw a video showing the activities of the federation in the DPRK and other countries and regions, enjoyed an art performance given by members of the art group of Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace and young RC volunteers and made a round of photos on display.
