Present there were Chairman Ho Jong Man and members of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, the director of the Research Institute on History of Korean Residents in Japan, leading officials of major organizations and affiliates under Chongryon, chairpersons of Chongryon headquarters and chairpersons of Chongryon branches in different parts of Japan.

The meeting discussed the issues of concentrating all efforts on cementing Chongryon branches to be reliable patriotic ones, hastening a fresh heyday of the movement of Koreans in Japan and providing a springboard for overall prosperity, true to the high intention of Kim Jong Un.

The reporter underscored the need to make decisive progress in strengthening as firm as a rock the branches, main units of compatriots' living and patriotic work, into regional bases of the movement of Koreans in Japan and terminal guiding units of Chongryon in step with the ever-victorious stratagem and strategic idea of Kim Jong Un.

He called on all the officials to consolidate the Chongryon as firm as a rock to be powerful overseas compatriots' organization forming a harmonious whole with compatriots as desired by Kim Jong Un.
