The all-people movements waged in the flames of war are the manifestation of ardent patriotism of the Korean people full of boundless loyalty to the leader, indomitable faith and confidence in victory.

Korean people turned out in the all-people resistance after receiving the historic radio address "Go All Out for Victory in the War" made by the President on June 26, Juche 39 (1950).

Amid the dynamic movement of volunteering for the frontline, the number of volunteers from across north and south of Korea reached as many as over 1 249 000 in the middle of August 1950 and increased with the lapse of time.

The movement for donating funds for weaponry developed into the all-people patriotic one and broad masses of people including workers, office workers, youth and students and patriotic traders and manufactures vied to take part in the movement.

Thanks to the struggle of peasants who turned out in the war for defending the country, the grain production increased in such a difficult wartime and much funds for weaponry and relief grains to the front were gathered.

With the growing patriotic enthusiasm of the people to contribute to bringing earlier the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War, the youth workteam movement for backing frontline, the movement for high-yielding emulation and other mass movements were waged in a brisk way during the war.

The all-people patriotic movements waged by the Korean people in the spirit of defending the country and with will to annihilate the enemy served as the mighty motive power for increasing the fighting capacity of the people's army and hastening the war victory.
