Seen at the wreath-laying stands of the cemeteries were wreaths sent by Supreme Leader of the Workers' Party of Korea, the state and the armed forces of the DPRK Kim Jong Un.

Present at wreath-laying events were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, first vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK, vice-chairman of the SAC of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK, and Kim Jae Ryong, member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK, member of the SAC of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet.

On hand there were senior officials of the Party and the government including Kim Phyong Hae, Choe Hwi, Thae Jong Su, O Su Yong, An Jong Su, Pak Thae Dok, Pak Thae Song, Ro Tu Chol, Choe Pu Il, Jong Kyong Taek, Kim Tok Hun, Ri Ryong Nam and Jo Chun Ryong, the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of the Party Central Committee, officials of power organs, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions and officials of institutions and enterprises and working people in Pyongyang.

Present there were officials of the armed forces organs.

Wreaths in the joint name of the C.C., the WPK, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the DPRK Cabinet were placed at the wreath-laying stands of the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong and the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri and a wreath in the joint name of the C.C., the WPK, the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK at the wreath-laying stand of the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery.

Also laid there were wreaths in the names of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, working people's organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, institutions of science, education, public health and media and Party and power organs, enterprises, farms, etc. in Pyongyang.

The visitors paid a silent tribute to the martyrs and saw round the cemeteries.

On the same day wreaths were placed before the statues and cemeteries of martyrs, memorial towers for the fallen soldiers of the KPA and graves of martyrs in different parts of the country.
