Today the Korean people keenly feel his great guidance through the hot wind for making all the people well versed in science and technology running high across the country and in the stirring reality of the country advancing and leaping forward by dint of science.

The idea indicated by the Supreme Leader on making all the people well versed in science and technology is, in essence, to prepare all the members of society to be intelligent workers with the knowledge level of a university graduate and the main players for the development of science and technology.

Today, changes have been brought about in the ideological viewpoint, fighting traits and attitude of our people, and the building of an economic power has been accelerated in spite of all trials and difficulties. Such fact serves as a powerful indicator of the scientific accuracy, justice and validity of the ideology and theory of making all the people well versed in science and technology as well as its adequacy in the present times.

The national investment in the scientific and educational work has increased and the traits of preferential treatment of scientists, technicians and educators and providing their working and living conditions on a priority basis prevail the whole country under the wise guidance of the Supreme Leader.

Our struggling goal is high and task is vast. We should not stop the advance however thorny the way of making all the people well versed in science and technology may be, and should redouble our efforts with aspiration and pluck full of ambition to excel the world at any cost.
